The Band

Matty Miller
Vocals, Rhythm Guitar, Keys
Vancouver, B.C
Matty's musical journey started with an unsuccessful saxophone tenure in high school. But after picking up a guitar and belting out bangers in the Vancouver pub scene, it's been all up ever since.
Matty and his energetic performances and massive vocals linked up with the Barge in 2023 where he began songwriting.
Matty's influences are pure rock n roll classics like the Eagles, Steely Dan, The Guess Who and Van Morrison.

Hamish Betts
Lead Guitar
Palmerston North, New Zealand
Starting as a way to bunk class, he took guitar lessons at age 12. After eventually finishing school, he moved to Canada in 2019, where he linked up with Dr Gaz to plant the seeds that would later blossom into the Barge itself. His face-melting solos and technical guitar style have become a staple of the Barge Boys.

Ciara O'Neill
Vocals, Keys
Ireland & U.K.
Ciara grew up between Ireland and England with a big family of musicians.
After starting on the clarinet (and failing miserably), she moved on to piano to keep up with her passion for singing.
Besides belting out massive vocals, Ciara likes to keeps the Barge Boys in line and loves nothing more than making them partake in the silly tiktok trends.

Luc Lemans
Lead guitar, Keys, Vocals
Vancouver, B.C
Luc "Lemon" Lemans joined up in 2024 as a multi-instrumentalist, shifting effortlessly between keys, guitar and vocals. When not performing with the Barge Boys, he works as a solo singer-songwriter in Vancouver, with retro influencers including Buddy Holly, the Beach Boys, Prince, and more.

Gary "The Gazz" Braun
Bass Guitar
Santa Barbara, California
Dr. Gary "Bullseye" Braun hails from Santa Barbara, CA, where he has played in punk and metal bands since 2001 - not to mention Jazz Club.
Making his way to Vancouver in 2017, Gaz conjures up almost as many rhythms as he has nicknames.
His favorite bassists Steve Harris, Flea, and Chi Cheng have heavily influenced his fingerpicking bass style.

Conner Andrews
Drums
Christchurch, New Zealand
Conner Andrews' musical journey started with a violin down in Christchurch, New Zealand.
As an insatiable drive for more volume developed, he picked up the drums and a passion for rhythm flourished.
After moving to Canada he joined a humble work band which would ultimately form the foundation for the Barge.
